The Great Basin Riders met for their June Gymkhana on June 9 and 10 for a trail ride, potluck and competition at the Whipple Ranch Arena.

Friday night they competed in lead line, walk and trot, flags, poles, goats and jackpot starting at 5:30 p.m. There were seven lead line kids, three walk and trot riders, two six and under riders, eight riders in the 7-to-9 age group, five in 10 to 13, four in 19 to 39 and four riders in the 40-and-older age group.

The competition was followed by a potluck where the meat was provided. On June 10 at 8 a.m., there were fifteen riders who participated in the trail ride.
