Millie Rowe Fitzsimons received a Pat Fladager Special Recognition Award during the Retired Public Employees of Nevada (RPEN) quarterly meeting at Gwen’s Grill in Alamo in October.

The main purpose of the award is to recognize those individuals who have a history of dedication to RPEN, who attend the meetings, who make themselves available for various tasks and contribute on a continual basis.

Making the event more special is that Fitzsimons’ mother, Dorothea Rowe, received this award in 2005, and her sister, Lavette Rowe Lee, received it in 2012.
