Noah Smith, junior, runs the 110m hurdles at the Liberty Invitational on Saturday.

On March 17, Lincoln County track competed in the Liberty Invitational at Liberty High School. A huge meet with many huge D1 schools and harsh weather conditions proved to be a challenging meet for the Lynx.

In the boys results, Landen Smith finished at 12.06 seconds in 100 meters.

Noah Smith finished in 12.28 seconds, and Benson Wadsworth finished in 12.94 seconds. Noah Smith placed seventh in 110 hurdles.

Landen Smith moved up a few places in the 200 meters, placing ninth at 24.18 seconds. Noah Smith was right behind him at 24.33 seconds, placing 12th.

Alex Rowe achieved a season record in the 1600 meters with a time of 5:44.08.

Freshman Gavin Pladsen achieved a personal record at 91’00 in discus.

Thomas Gloeckner PR’d in long jump at 14’02 feet.

On the girls side, Brooklyn Hafen placed second in the women’s high jump and achieved a season record of 5’02. Hafen also finished the 200 meters at 29.06 seconds.

The team had another meet at Desert Pines High School yesterday in Las Vegas.
