Returning again to Thompson’s Opera House in Pioche are Jimmy Ray as Johnny Cash and Cyndi Cantrell as June Carter Cash on Saturday, Nov. 10, at 2 p.m. The show this time takes a different twist as they are bringing along “Willie Nelson,” played by “crazy” Uncle Paul Jarvis.
The show will, once again, take place over Veterans Day weekend, so it will feature some patriotic selections.
Cyndi, along with playing June Carter Cash, will also do some numbers from Patsy Cline.
Saturday afternoon’s performance will take on a little of the flavor of the Grand Ole Opry. The usual band will be on hand. Audience members have said if you close your eyes during a number, you’ll swear you’re listening to a recording of the real thing.
The group hails out of Las Vegas but does extensive traveling around the United States. Because their show has been so well received in the past by Northern Lincoln County, it is expected that there will be an enthusiastic audience returning to see them, and organizers hope some folks who have not had the privilege of seeing them will also be on hand.
