Tammie Gubler, of G and G Motorsports and Tammie T. Racing, won the 2018 Wild Bill’s Mini Sprint Car Championship and Rookie of the Year.

The mini sprint car series was held at Wild Bill’s Raceway in Ephraim, Utah.

Previously, the Gublers have won many desert races, including Southern Nevada Offroad Enthusiasts, Motorcycle Racing Association of Nevada, and Best in the Desert. Now they have branched off to try several different kinds of racing, including mini sprint cars and modified.

After taking first place last year and winning Rookie of the Year this year, Colton Gubler, Tammy’s son, took home the second-place sprint car trophy.

Colton said, “I am so proud of my mom and our team. We sure battled it out, right up to the last race. We had an exciting season at Wild Bill’s Raceway.”

Tammie added, “This was a great season. I really worked hard for this one. My son really pushed me. I cannot wait for our next challenge; we are going to be competing in Pahrump with our sprints and modified car. We are encouraging other Lincoln racers to come out with us, like Matt Elmer and Bo Carlson. We have a ball! It is all about fun and family. I could not have won this series without my awesome family, support team, and loyal fans.”
