Jesse Jones took first place in his 145-pound weight class at the Ely Lions Club wrestling tournament, Dec. 20. He won all three of his matches.
Hagen Harris (106) was 2-1 for a second-place finish and Jon Stewart (285) also was 2-1 and took second place. Jake Griffin (182) lost both of his matches. Davin Minick (145) did not compete.
Tayt Leavitt (220) suffered a knee injury early in his first match and had to forfeit all his matches.
Pahranagat Valley will be off for the holidays and returns to action hosting the Panther Invitational, Jan. 11, featuring Moapa Valley, Lincoln County, Lake Mead, Indian Springs, and Sunrise Mountain.
