The Lincoln County High School wrestling team traveled to Las Vegas last weekend for the Chaparral Invitational.

Junior Trevin Perkins wrestled in the 162-pound weight class and ended up with three wins and three losses, placing sixth. Wrestling in the 140-pound weight class, sophomore Hagen Boyce had four wins and two losses.

Sophomore Auston Marshall wrestled in the 134 and brought home two wins and two losses as did sophomore Ayden Miller, wrestling in the 115 class.

Jordan Free, sophomore, had four wins and two losses after wrestling in the 128. Freshman Seth Patrick wrestled in the 222-pound weight class, ending up with one win and two losses.

The team’s next tournament will be the Southern Regional Duels in Tonopah on Jan. 25-26.
