Mama Mia! Here we go with Lincoln County High School’s rendition of the classic musical homage to ABBA. This particular story is one part romance, one part comedy and one part who-done-it in a tale that explores the depths of the human emotional experience through song and dance.

On the idyllic island of Kalokairi, lovely bride-to-be Sophie (played by MacKenzie Marshall) attempts to discover her real parentage. During the time in which Sophie had to have been conceived, her mother, Donna (played by Amy Glockner), was romantically active with three different men: successful banker Harry Bright (played by Trevor Frank), renowned writer and explorer Bill Austin (played by Hayden Showell), and well-to-do architect Sam Carmichael (played by David Conahan).

In an attempt to discover which of these men is Sophie’s real father, hijinks, misunderstandings and heartwarming ensue.

The play will run March 5-9 at 7 p.m. at the Neldon C. Matthews auditorium in Panaca. The evening promises plenty of fun and intrigue as the audience learns that family is a matter of perspective and that love is the only thing that matters.
