Feb. 19, the Olsen Senior Board held its monthly meeting.
The main part of the meeting was finalizing the St. Patrick’s Day bingo and dinner, which will be held March 15 at the senior center in Caliente. Hayley Gloeckner and her crew have spearheaded the event for the past three years.
Dinner will be from 4:30-5:30 p.m. The menu this year will be tacos or taco salad. The cost will be $5 per meal. Children three and under eat free.
Bingo will start at 5:30. Like last year, cards will each cost .50 cents.
All money will go to building improvements.
The board is looking for people who want to join. You do not have to be a senior to be a board member. Meetings are the third Tuesday of the month at 2:00 p.m. If interested, come to the next meeting.
