“The new kids all established a time,” said Coach Lacie Pearson. “They established where they’re at, and we had a lot of improvement which I think was really good. I was happy for that. We have some good state rankings already; Noah Smith is in the top two in 100m and 200m, and Cody Zile is first in the state for triple jump and second place in the long jump by only an inch. So I’m really happy about that. Overall for this point in the season, I’m really happy with how we’re doing.”
