The Panthers track team competed in the Shadow Ridge Weekday No. 1 meet at Shadow Ridge High School in Las Vegas Mar. 14.

Coach Wade Poulsen said going to a small meet like this, with only three teams, including a couple of 4A schools, was in effect “like a hard practice.”

The boys took second place in the 4×400 relay at 4:21.35.

The Pahranagat girls only had three of their four team members competing in the meet. Defending 1A state champion McKenzie Poulsen won the girls long jump at 14-08½ and placed fourth in the triple jump behind defending 4A state champion Ashley Moore of Centennial.
