Thursday, March 21, Lincoln County track ran in Las Vegas at Eldorado High School.

“I am pleased with the progress of the team so far,” said Coach Lacie Pearson.

Auston Marshall ran in the 800m and came in at 2:39.30. Showell placed first in pole vault at 9-00, a new personal record.

Hayden Showell achieved a new season record in the 800m at 2:55.30. He hit another SR in the 100m at 6:45.00.

Kyle Zierow ran in the 1600m at 5:34.60. He threw a 31-10 in the shot put. Zierow earned a new personal record in Discus and placed second at 116-01.

Chance Christensen finished the 1600m at 5:46.50, a SR.

Ashton Showell ran a 6:34.60 in the 1600m. He ran a new PR in the 3200m at 13:34.60.

Cody Zile PR’d and placed fourth in the high jump at 5-05 and in the long jump at 17-11.75. In the triple jump, Zile PR’d once again and placed second at 39-09.2.

Zierow, Segler, Marshall and Hayden Showell placed second in the 4x400m at 4:24.20.

Rhyan Shumway ran in the 100m and came in at 15.20. She came in at 31.70 in the 200m. Shumway PR’d in the long jump at 11-07.

Amy Gloeckner PR’d in the 100m at 15.80. In the 200m she came in at 32.60.

Nani Lebaron placed second in the mile with a PR at 6:10.60.

In shot put, Sara Decker threw 17-04. Decker PR’d in discus at 51-08.

Destiny Pallaya PR’d in shot put at 17-07 and in discus at 53-03.

Madison Whimple threw 15-02 in the shot put. In discus, Whimple threw 35-00.

On March 22, Noah Smith competed in the Silver State Invitational at Coronado High School.

Smith ran the 100m at 11.30 seconds, a SR. In the 200m, he achieved another SR at 23.04. He SR’d again in the 110m at 16.65.

On March 27, the team went to Las Vegas for the Rancho Weekday #2 at Rancho High School.
