At 2 p.m., Saturday, April 13, Thompson’s Opera House in Pioche will again host the popular bluegrass band, Red Rock Ramblers.

The band has performed for corporate affairs, community events and music festivals and has appeared at the Smith Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Las Vegas.

The group plays a mix of traditional bluegrass, contemporary bluegrass, old-time fiddle and even some classic country. The band has added Krista Solars, playing old-time fiddle music. Solars is a four-time Ohio State Fiddle Champ and also plays in Bella Strings of Las Vegas.

“The Red Rock Ramblers are a superb group of multi-talented musicians and singers featuring pristine vocal harmony and hot instrumental licks to ensure a wonderful afternoon of music and entertainment,” said Leslie Derkovitz of Thompson’s Opera House.

Again returning is the social hour before the performance, offering beer, wine and hors d’oeuvres by donation. Soda pop and water will also be available. Attendees should plan to come early to enjoy this casual hour of tasty treats and socializing.

Thompson’s Opera House is located at 644 Main Street in the heart of historic Pioche.
