Coach Lacie Pearson said, “I think the highlight of my day was Cora’s success in the 800m. She was really nervous about the race, really unsure of how she would do, and she ran a perfect race for her ability and being new to track.”

Pearson added, “Noah did well in the 400m. I was pleased to see that. The distance kids are going to have to really bear down from here on out if any of them want to qualify, but Kyle is doing well in the mile. I am happy with Destiny’s progress in throwing. She is doing really well. For how young she is, she is coming along and improving nicely. Rhyan Shumway had a really good improvement in long jump as well. We all just have to work hard between here and regional meet because it’s coming fast.”

Lincoln was in Mesquite, April 11 at the Virgin Valley Weekday #2.
