The Pahranagat Valley track teams participated in the Richard Lewis Memorial April 5 at Moapa Valley High School in Overton. The 1A, 2A and 3A Southern Regional meet will also be held there May 10-11.

The Panthers have a small team, both boys and girls, and therefore are not able to enter someone in every event. In particular, the girls team does not enter the relay races.

For the 1A girls statewide, Poulsen is still listed as No. 2 in the triple jump at 29-11½ behind Isabella Minoletti of Eureka at 30-08.

For the Panther boys, Izzy Rieri is second in the 1A state listings in the 300m hurdles, 47.62, behind Noel Gutierrez of Beatty at 45.13.

In the boys 4×400 relay, Pahranagat Valley is No. 2 with a time of  4:01.87, behind Spring Mountain’s 3:57.30.

The Panther teams had two meets this week, one on Tuesday at Mojave High School and on Thursday at Virgin Valley in Mesquite.
