SNORE excited to bring back Caliente 250 in June 2025

It’s been two years since SNORE (Southern Nevada Off-Road Enthusiasts) has been able to run its historic Caliente 250 off-road race. The BLM allows two four-wheel off-road racing events in Lincoln County per year, so organizations that want to hold an event must enter a BLM lottery to be chosen. This year’s draw was held on Tuesday, Sept. 3 at the Caliente Field Office, and Best in the Desert and SNORE were the lottery winners.

“We are very excited to get back to one of our longest-running, most iconic and most loved races, the 2025 Caliente 250 … We are looking forward to having all those in Caliente who want to be involved with next year’s race. (There will be) lots of town involvement, donations, raffles, barbecue, drivers meet and greet and all the fun that makes a race in Lincoln County such a treat,” said SNORE race director Jeff Phillips.
