
Ronald Allen Green, age 68, passed away September 29, 2024 in Lancaster CA. He was born in Paradise California on July 31, 1956 to Richard Lee Green and Polly Ann Hill Green and spent his childhood in Chico, CA. Ron and his sister Rhonda, were competitive roller skaters during their childhood while in Chico. Ron moved to Alamo, NV for his senior year of high school, in 1975 when his dad was hired as the shop teacher. There he met Lorrie Stewart and they were later married in 1977 in Alamo. Ron worked at the Nevada Test Site from 1982 until 2002 as a mechanic. Ron met and made many friends while
working there. Together, Ron and Lorrie had four children: Chris, Kara, Jessica and Caleb. Later, two more
children, Amy and Crystal, joined the family.
While his children were growing, he enjoyed scuba diving, snow skiing, water skiing and boating with his family. Ron’s true passion was working on cars and he was always in his garage with a project. He spent hours helping thers with their cars and wouldn’t charge them for labor but he always knew when he helped the senior ladies in the community they would ensure to pay him with his favorite baked goods
and kindness. He also spent endless hours helping his children with their 4-H animals and getting them show ready.
In 2002, Ron moved to Las Vegas, NV and worked for Holton Truck Lines, fixing trucks. He later moved
back to California, where he lived until his passing.
He is survived by his sister Rhonda Rogers; Son Chris (Cori) Green, daughter Amy (Bernell) Stratton, daughter Jessica (Robert) Odell, daughter Crystal Conk; eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Kara, son Caleb, as well as his parents Richard and Polly Green.
