Visitors enjoy the lights at a recent Winter Wonderland at Kershaw-Ryan State Park.
Kershaw-Ryan State Park welcomes all to the annual Winter Wonderland on Saturday, Dec. 14.
Park staff will provide Dutch oven cobbler at 6:30 p.m., and hot cocoa will be served all evening. The park will be decorated with Christmas lights and Farolitos (a tradition originating from Spanish settlers in the 16th century). Christmas ornaments to decorate will be provided. Come to share a warm fire, warm cocoa, and warm conversations. A special visitor may even come to share in the festivities as well…
The free event is open to the public. Park entry fees still apply. Questions may be directed to Ethan Mower, emower@parks.nv.gov.
