The Pioche Town Board met Tuesday, Jan. 14 for its regular monthly meeting. The Lincoln County Board of Commissioners voted Monday, Jan. 6 to re-appoint town board members Sharron Faeling, Larry Stever and Duaine Cowley for another two years. The board approved the property boundary lines moving forward with the transfer of the portion of Lime Hill property, which will be owned by Pioche Town. Board members noted they will soon be hiring two part-time positions for the town: a deputy town clerk and a manager for the Pioche town pool. Those positions will be posted in the paper when available.
The board’s meetings are held at 6 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month at Pioche Town Hall on Main Street. All are welcome to attend.
