The Tea House Inn, with instructor Michele Read, is slated to host a basic jewelry and crochet class this weekend with limited seats available.
The basic jewelry class will be held Feb. 21 from 6 p.m. to 5 p.m. There are 10 seats available at a cost of $40 per person. Participants will make two pairs of earrings and learn different earring-making techniques, including wiring, looping, hooking, etc. There will also be beads available to choose from, with all materials and supplies provided with class seats. Refreshments will be provided to those that participate.
The crochet class will teach guests how to make a lap blanket with yarn and hook. The specialized shell stitch will also be taught. There are 10 class seats available at a cost of $10 per person. Participants will need to bring a size 5/6 crochet hook and three to four skeins of size 4 yarn. Refreshments will be provided.
