The Pioche Town Board held its monthly meeting Tuesday, March 11.
Board members approved this year’s pool maintenance contract with Bob Mayo for the 2025 season. The Pioche Pool opening is planned for early June. A pool manager and lifeguards are needed, and job opportunities for both will be listed publicly soon.
The Lime Hill property appraisal for purchase by Pioche Town was approved by board members. Upgrades and maintenance are still underway at Town Hall as they continue to make the facility user-friendly for local events. Board members voted Duaine Cowley as vice chairman of the board, and Board Chairwoman Sharron Faehling announced the possibility of an upcoming board seat. Commissioner Mike Reese and Lincoln County Undersheriff Darrin Woodworth were also in attendance, giving brief updates from each department.
Pioche Town Board meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. in the town hall on Main Street. Everyone is welcome to attend.
