The 41st annual Nevada 200 Trail Ride is gearing up to bring hundreds of riders to Caliente April 11-13. The three-day dirt bike motorcycle event will include two days of trail riding spanning 200 miles of scenic trails in Lincoln County’s majestic mountains and valleys.
Course marking for the Nevada 200 Trail Ride is now complete. Organizers spent days preparing the route so riders will have a well-marked and enjoyable experience on the 200-mile course. The route includes technical single-track trails and open terrain, offering breathtaking desert views.
Over the years the Nevada 200 has become one of the most popular invitation-only trail rides in the country. Riders of all skill levels from around the country attend. Local businesses in Caliente are preparing for the large event as hotels, restaurants and shops expect an increase in visitors.
As preparations wrap up, event organizers are shifting focus to the upcoming Rugged Radios Nevada Rally Extra-Terrestrial Experience. The separate two-day navigation event will take riders near Area 51 and Rachel.
