Country singer-songwriter Jay Allen is set to return for a performance at Thompson’s Opera House in Pioche. 80 Entertainment will present the concert on Friday, May 16, at 7 p.m., with a 6:30 p.m. door time.
Allen, originally from Cedar Falls, Iowa, has made significant strides in the country music scene. He gained national recognition with his heartfelt song “Blank Stares,” inspired by his mother’s battle with Alzheimer’s disease. A video of Allen performing the song alongside his mother went viral, amassing over 500 million views and highlighting his commitment to raising awareness for Alzheimer’s.
