Home games and regionals on deck for Lynx

The Lincoln County Lynx ball teams are off until their home games against Awaken Christian on April 24, but the track team participated in two meets. The track is usually busy, and Panaca’s streets are often filled with runners preparing for races.

The team attended two meets since the start of spring break. At the CSN Distance Carnival on April 11, Camille Lamb took third place in the 1,600 meters with a season record time of 6 minutes 8.23 seconds.

At the Southern Nevada Coaches Association Open held on April 18, the team was there in full force. In the 3,200-meter run, Sadie Ivins finished second with a personal record time of 13:33.46 and Lamb finished third in 13:33.84.

The team is gearing up for regionals and state following their next meet, the Cheyenne Weekday, on April 24.
