The Nevada State Horseshoe Pitchers Association, in partnership with the Town of Pioche and the Pioche Chamber of Commerce, will host the first annual Pioche Open Horseshoe Tournament. The event will take place on June 28 and 29 at Pioche Town Park.

The tournament is open to the public and welcomes both seasoned competitors and first-time players. The event will feature singles play on Saturday and doubles on Sunday, with games beginning at 10 a.m. each day. Set against a mountain backdrop, the location offers a scenic environment for participants and spectators alike.
Winners of the Pioche Open may qualify for the Nevada State Championship Tournament in Tonopah this October. Organizers noted the tournament is designed to support the sport of horseshoe pitching in Nevada while also offering a family-friendly weekend for locals and visitors.
The Pioche Open is part of a broader effort by the Pioche Chamber to promote tourism and recreation.
