Victory Life Church’s youth group is extending an open invitation to the community to take part in their upcoming Worship Experience, scheduled for Sunday, June 29, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at 40 Main St. in Caliente.
This free outdoor event will feature a live evening of worship music, activities and youth-led barbecue fundraiser. Families, local performers and individuals with a heart for worship are encouraged to sign up for a time slot to sing, share a song or lead a moment of praise. Whether you’re a solo artist, part of a group, or simply love to worship, there’s a place for you.

Victory Life Church’s youth group invites the community to a Worship Experience on Sunday, June 29, from 3-6 p.m. at 40 Main St., Caliente.
“Come bring your voice, your story or just your presence,” shared Youth Pastor Summer Bradshaw. “This event is about lifting up the name of Jesus together as a community and celebrating what He’s doing in the lives of our youth.”
The Worship Experience is the final event in a series of spiritual and community-building activities that have helped fund the Lifeline Youth Group’s trip to the 2025 DESPO Youth Conference in Colorado Springs this July. Thanks to a wave of generosity from local residents, their recent yard sales held May 16-17 and June 6-8, raised meaningful support. These events featured household goods, furniture, clothing and a hands-on bread-making class, turning what began as a simple fundraiser into a lively community gathering.
With the number of youth attending this year having doubled compared to last year, the group has organized an expanded slate of fundraisers to ensure no teen has to pay out of pocket for travel, lodging or meals during the trip.
Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets and an appetite for grilled favorites. The Worship Experience is not just a fundraiser, it’s a thank you. “We’ve seen God move in big ways this year,” said Bradshaw, “This event is our way of saying thank you to everyone who’s prayed, given or just showed up.”
