Families and community members are invited to kick off their Fourth of July celebrations early with a patriotic gathering in Pioche.
The event will feature a fun lineup of kid-friendly activities and a celebration of American pride.
A group will be gathering at Pioche Town Park at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2. Hosted by local volunteers, the morning will include a craft station, a festive book reading and a group recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. Organizers will also unfurl a large American flag during the event as a visual tribute to unity and freedom.
The event is free to attend. Supplies for the craft activity are limited. Those interested in reserving a craft or volunteering to help are encouraged to contact Shari Faehling at (775) 962-2002.
Organizers hope this event will offer families a meaningful start to Independence Day celebrations.
