The Nevada Association of Conservation Districts (NvACD), in partnership with Gunworld & Archery in Elko, has announced the return of its annual Sportsman’s Raffle this October.
With only 500 tickets available, the raffle provides 30 chances to win outdoor gear and firearms while supporting conservation efforts across Nevada.
Tickets are $100 each, and winning tickets will be placed back into the drawing, giving participants multiple chances to win. Winners may also choose to exchange their prize for $500 in store credit at Gunworld & Archery. Shipping is included for out-of-area winners, though organizers note transfer fees may apply.
This year’s prize lineup includes a wide range of popular outdoor gear and sporting items. Firearms on the list feature the Glock 48 9mm, the Ruger American Gen 2 rifle in a caliber of choice, the Henry .22 lever action, the Mossberg 500 shotgun in 12- or 20-gauge, the Canik Mete 9mm and the Girsan MC1911 S .45 ACP pistol. Optics include Vortex Viper 10×42 binoculars, Vortex Diamondback spotting scopes and Leupold SX-2 20-60 x 80 spotting scopes. The raffle also features gear such as Crispi or Kenetrek boots, Kodiak Flex Bow 10 x 10 tents and Butler Bags. With 30 total prizes, drawings will be held daily throughout October.
Proceeds from the raffle benefit the NvACD’s general fund and scholarship program, which support the work of Nevada’s 28 Conservation Districts. The organization provides training, advocacy, statewide networking, insurance and recognition programs for districts working on local resource concerns. Funds also help sponsor an annual scholarship program for Nevada students pursuing studies in conservation and natural resources.
