The Lincoln County High School boys’ cross country team had two runners finish in the top 15 at the CSN Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 4. 

Senior Benson Bleak was 12th with a time of 17:06.6 in the 5,000-meter varsity heat. Junior William Pike took 15th and was less than 30 seconds off Bleak’s pace. Freshman Bradley Pike finished 23rd.

Running a personal best for the LCHS girls was junior Sadie Ivins. She crossed the line in 21:24.7, which was good enough for 16th place. Senior Tatelyn Perkson ran the 5,000 meters in 29:11.7, and freshman Clarice Watkins ran a personal best 30:27.9.

The Lynx cross country teams run the Lake Mead Invitational at Veterans Memorial Park on Saturday, Oct. 11, at 8 a.m.
