The VFW Post 7114 in Caliente will host a community spaghetti dinner on Saturday, Oct. 11. The event will be held to support local resident Indiana Adams, who is facing unexpected medical expenses following her diagnosis of Graves’ disease and thyroid eye disease (TED).
The dinner will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Caliente VFW. Meals will be served by donation, and all proceeds will go directly toward helping Indiana and her family cover the growing costs of treatment and care. “This has been a financial hardship they did not expect,” said organizers, who encourage residents to come enjoy a warm meal and visit with friends while supporting a good cause.
The evening will include spaghetti, salad and dessert, as well as an opportunity to donate directly or contribute through other ongoing efforts to assist the Adams family. Donations are greatly appreciated from those who cannot attend but wish to help. Visit the VFW to make a donation.
