The Caliente Beautification Committee is sponsoring its annual Cookies and Cocoa with Santa event on Saturday, Dec. 6, at the Caliente Union Pacific Train Depot. This festive holiday celebration will feature a grand entrance with Santa, holiday decorations, a complimentary photo with Santa taken by Dana Lee Fruend Photography, festive entertainment, Christmas caroling and cookies and hot cocoa. This holiday event will begin at 5 p.m. The Union Pacific Depot is located at 100 Depot Avenue in Caliente and will be decorated for the holiday season.

The Caliente Beautification Committee is an all-volunteer group that focuses on community involvement and events and contributing to the civic pride that makes Caliente a great place to call home. This group also is responsible for displaying flags along Highway 93 on holidays, decorating the town and Depot for holidays and updating the marquee sign on Clock Island with key local happenings.
