Camping Program Coordinator

The University of Nevada, Reno Extension is looking for an innovative Camping Program Coordinator to lead comprehensive day and residential camping programs at the Southern 4-H Camp Alamo.

The position will develop and implement engaging camping programs, oversee daily camp operations, analyze program data and drive evidence-based improvement, and manage events, budgets, and special projects.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + 2 years related experience OR Master’s degree + 1 year experience
• Experience with youth programs, community organizations, and camp operations
• Proven ability to collaborate with diverse audiences
• Valid Nevada Driver’s License (or obtain within 1 month)
• Pass fingerprinting/background check
  Position Details:
• Variable schedule including some weekends
• Travel up to 2 hours for meetings
• Overnight stays at camp when groups are onsite
