The LCHS Career Association is inviting families to enjoy a festive evening together on Thursday, Dec. 4, from 7 to 9 p.m. as they host a community movie night featuring the holiday favorite “Elf.” The event is geared toward elementary-aged students and their families, but all are welcome to attend.
Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and wear pajamas to make the movie experience cozy and fun. Light refreshments will be available, including cocoa, popcorn and cookies for $1. Students from the Career Association will also offer a simple ornament craft for $2. Coloring pages and a cornhole setup will be available throughout the evening.
Attendees will have the chance to enter a gift basket raffle, with all proceeds supporting future Career Association projects and activities. Instructor Genevieve Liston shared that the group hopes the event brings the community together during the holiday season while giving the students an opportunity to lead and organize a family-friendly activity.
