Hundreds of desert racers geared up for the fourth round of the 2026 MRAN Racing Series, Saturday, March 28. The Prairie Maggots Hare Scrambles, hosted by the Silver State Trail Blazers, brought youth and adult racers to Long Hill gravel pit, north of Panaca.

The races kicked off Saturday morning with a huge turnout of youth racers taking to the desert trails. Some notable local winners included Kyler Stotler (Panaca), Overall Mini Winner; Parker Walch (Alamo), 65cc Amateur Winner; Zaydan Knott (Panaca), 50cc Amateur Winner and Brystol Rowe (Caliente), 50cc Novice Winner. The big bikes began racing at 11 a.m., with Alamo’s Braxton Walch taking the overall Amateur Class Win. 1 p.m. was the start of the highly anticipated AA Pro Premiere Class Riders and Expert Riders. After two hours and 11 minutes on the challenging 11-mile course, Utah’s Ammon Pulsipher took the Overall Win, with Panaca local Mason Davis finishing in second, less than one minute behind.
