Students across Lincoln County will head back to the classroom Monday, Aug. 18, and families will see a few changes as they prepare for the 2026-27 school year.
The Lincoln County School District is moving much of its annual back-to-school paperwork online this year, gradually replacing the traditional registration packets families have completed in the past.

Lincoln County schools are introducing iClass Connect for the 2026-27 school year, giving families a new way to complete annual student forms online and receive school news, announcements, reminders and other important information.
Through the district’s website, parents and guardians will be able to access annual student forms, review information and provide digital signatures from home. The transition is intended to simplify registration and reduce the number of paper forms families are required to keep track of each year.
Schools are also introducing iClass Connect, a new mobile app that will be used to communicate with families throughout the school year. Parents can receive school news, announcements, messages, event information and other updates directly through the app.
Families are being encouraged to download iClass Connect and register as soon as their child’s school announces that the system is ready. After creating an account, parents can select their child’s school and add their student. Families with children attending different schools can add multiple schools and students within the same app.
Each Lincoln County school has its own enrollment code: Caliente Elementary, 97570; Lincoln County High School, 59235; Meadow Valley Middle School, 70723; Panaca Elementary, 09320; Pioche Elementary, 77794; Pahranagat Valley Elementary, 01360; Pahranagat Valley Middle School, 57882; and Pahranagat Valley High School, 77755.
District officials are asking families for patience as the new system is introduced. Staff recently received training, and individual schools will notify families when their digital forms and iClass Connect features are available.
Families should watch for communication from their child’s school before beginning the new registration process.
As families complete their back-to-school paperwork, the district is also reminding parents to submit a new Free and Reduced-Price Meal Application for the 2026-27 school year.
Applications can be completed through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal and provide an immediate eligibility determination. Paper applications will remain available for families who prefer them.
Students who qualified for free or reduced-price meals during the 2025-26 school year will retain that eligibility only through Oct. 1. Families must submit a new application before that date to avoid an interruption in benefits.
Families who are Direct Certified will receive notification from the district. Students who qualify through Direct Certification are automatically eligible for free meals for the entire school year and do not need a separate application.
With the first day of school approaching, families are encouraged to watch for messages from their individual schools, complete required forms and become familiar with iClass Connect before the school year gets underway.
