The Caliente Depot Ballroom will host an evening celebrating local art and culture Saturday, Sept. 19, with photography, literature, refreshments and jazz.
“Art, Literature, Wine & Jazz,” hosted by the Lincoln County Authority of Tourism, will run from 6 to 9 p.m. at the historic Caliente Depot, 100 Depot Ave.
The evening will feature a special display of Lincoln County photographs captured during the annual Lincoln County Photo Festivals, giving attendees a chance to view the area through the work of participating photographers.
Local authors and writers will also be on hand to visit with attendees and share their work. Guests are welcome to bring copies of authors’ books for signing or purchase books during the event.
Light refreshments and wine will be available as attendees mingle and enjoy jazz music throughout the evening.
The gathering is designed as a relaxed celebration of the art, stories and culture of Lincoln County.
This sounds like it’s going to be a great evening and a wonderful way to celebrate the creativity and culture we have here in Lincoln County. I’m honored to be participating as one of the local authors and am really looking forward to visiting with everyone, seeing the photography, and enjoying the evening at the Depot.
